you ever overhear a conversation between 2 friends...

but its a really obscure in detail topic, that will never probably never be brought up again, and they know you overhear parts of it, and you wanna pick up the conversation with 1 of the friends, how do you do that? for example lets say u overhear me talkin to a friend about what i found underneath my couch, and methods of cleaning it, what would you say to me?
