That all of the guys suddenly change. Their voices become a bit higher and sweeter when they are talking to her. And they CANNOT do enough for her. And they will say the stupidest things to try to impress her. Feign knowledge that they will never have.
Especially my boss. He is just an ass when it comes to everyone else, but when this one girl comes into the office to pick something up, he just becomes something else completely.
It's so annoying.



 
No, I can honestly say I've never noticed that.

As an interesting side note, I do happen to live under a rock.

I agree with you. Although many mens voices get deeper, and aggression and competion reigns.
 
It doesn't necessarily have to be a good looking girl or something. if your mom or SO called you (assuming she's a girl, zyso 😛) on the phone, I bet you would notice the voice change as well. Maybe part of it is natural or something...

Intersting that the two people who find it annoying are also gay. So your saying you would so the same thing if some good looking guy walked in and started asking for help?

I'm not about to speak for all gays, but I certainly don't change my persona just because an attractive gay man is in proximity. For certain people, perhaps... but not for just any [gay] male.

I talk to everyone the same. Guy or girl. Some people I joke around with, some people I don't. But other than that my tone remains the same.

Yeah, but you're gay, so maybe it's different.
I would assume guys react that way to appear more appealing, maybe, and hence you wouldn't do that because, well, you're not too interested in appealing 😛

yes chicks pick up on this too and usually exploit it rather than magically become attracted to the lame ass that is supplicating
 
We were at the cabin once and this 'friend' of one of my buddies girlfriend shows up for the wkend. Gawd my other buddy jumps up starts chatting her up and carries her bags into the cabin for her, falling all over himself.
All the while his girlfriend sitting at the campfire was AGOG at the shamfuell display :Q
before us !
me and my other buddy just roll our eyes.:roll:
