Trump asks U.S. judge to force Twitter to restart his account

Former U.S. President Donald Trump asked a federal judge in Florida on Friday to ask Twitter to restore his account, which the company removed in January citing a risk of incitement of violence.

He's also claiming congress influenced Twitter to make the ban in the first place.

Good thing you just can't create a fake/unverified account now as compared to FB. :D
Hopefully other social/blog sites delete/inactivate his account too,.
I only have 5 tweets since joining Tweeter July 2009 .

I'm on twitter because that is how Mount Rainier National Park releases road closure info, and I was working up there .

Actually, the Q's and Qtrumps put out a list of Trump friendly alternative social media sites where they sooooo believed the world would embrace instead of using that old reliable FB and Twitter. The problem was, those alternative Trump friendly sites ended up as a big bust. None of them alternative sites came close to having the following of FB and Twitter. And another problem with those Trump friendly alternative sites, everyone on those sites agreed with each other. They were all a bunch of Trump loving Q's, and thus no one to fight with.

My Q niece posted many times a list of alternative Trump friendly sites, and even she returned back to FB after a few months, but only to be placed in FB jail because of her posting misinformation and rants. Then she would get out of FB jail, returned to posting her crap again, and again put back in FB jail. I believe she is currently in FB jail right now.

What Donald Trump can't understand..... FB and Twitter are both privately owned. They can make the rules and ban anyone who will not follow their rules. This is not a question of freedom of speech, it is FB and it is Twitter, and they can ban whomever they want, well pretty much.

Yes and yes. Trump's "social media" site ended just being his personal blog and Mike's site had a lot of technical difficulties out of the gate, not sure if it's still up or how unpopular it is. I think Parler hurt the prospects of both, and has its own share of problems.

No, he wouldn't. The principle he is fighting for is not that everyone should be able to say what they want without consequences, the principle he is fighting for is that HE should be able to say whatever he wants without consequences.

This filing will do nothing just like his lawsuit against Twitter, Facebook, you tube will do nothing. They had clear rules and you violated them. For Christ's sake 3 weeks after shithead lost he tweeted "#OVERTURN!!#, just a sample of the shit he was spewing, calling those who attacked our capitol "great patriots", fuck you asshole.

So ... after all of Trump’s bravado about setting up an awesome new Trumpified version of Twitter - Which ... according to his highness - would no doubt put "the failing Twitter" out of business, and after several pathetically failed attempts at it, he’s now desperate and begging to be let back on "the failing Twitter" … What a loser. Being banned does significantly weaken his attempts to spread insanity and incipient insurrection, since he is far too lazy to go barnstorming across the country. Regaining his preferred social media outlets would be a fucking disaster for democracy in the US.
