You ever have to fire anybody?

It kind of sucks especially if he or she was a good person but you know they really weren't an asset to you or your company....More or less a screw up I guess you would say.

What even sucks more is when they say that they'll change but you know they wont...Then they go on about there bills, family and this and that and give me one more chance (even though you gave them to many already).

Just the whole process is a big pain in the ass.

Back when I was eighteen, I was an assistant manager at a pizza restaurant and I had to give someone the write-up that I knew would cost them their job, but I didn't actually fire them.

They won't learn until there are consequences to their actions, just like kids. You are actually doing them a favor if they use the opportunity to actually change for their next job. Companies are not charity organizations anyway.

Several times. Most times, I hated to do it, but you gotta do what's right for the job (and I've been on the other end of that a few times!) SOMETIMES, I took great pleasure in gettin their money... but not often.

A few times... it sucks but usually by the time it gets to that point I can't wait to get rid of them. Once they're gone everyone heaves a big sigh of relief.

Yes, several times including a good friend once. I never felt bad though b/c everybody got canned for screwing up multiple times or simply not doing their job. I would rather fire one person than interview a bunch of random people for that position the following week.
