...that you wish you could freeze that moment in time? I just did. I was on my waverunner (Yamaha SUV1200), going down a channel, when I saw a yacht with two fly bridges throwing nice wake with a swell height of 10-15 feet. So, I get ready, floor my waverunner (max speed 50 mph which I was going), and line up for the jump. With this kinds wake, there are two smaller (but still large), wakes behind the main wave. Wham, perfect jump of all three waves. I must have been 20 feet in the air. I don't think any wave I can find will give me the same rush unless I can find an aircraft carrier going 30 knots somewhere around here. Well, I'm, done with this post, just wanted to post something about my fun day. Also, if you have had a similar experience make you feel this way, post it.
 
sounds like fun. I really wanna get some jet skis but I don't got the money and my dad doesn't see it as a worthwhile investment. 🙁

First time I parallel parked my park was on my drivers test, just said "The hell with it" and did it, aced it, missed 5 points on my written and only 3 points on my driven (and two of which were because we exited onto some side street with no posted limit, turns out its 5 mph less than the other roads, nazi nailed me for that one. Said "Well, I gotta deduct for something"....thanks.
 
I can relate. I have an older Sea-Doo XP and its excellent for wave jumping since its so small & light. Its a good feeling(as long as you dont bust your ass on the landing!) I would also like to add that there is no f#cking way in the world that you jumped a 1200SUV 20 feet high 🙂 The thing is 12.5 feet long & weighs > 1000 lbs with rider & gas! The only people who get that high are the psychos riding their modified superjets in 10-15 foot surf.

You jump a 15 foot swell, all that matters is velocity, and at 50 mph I can reach 20 feet. Remember physics, mass doesn't matter when it comes to acceleration due to gravity.
 
Today, I actually got the paper towel in the wastebasket from ACROSS THE KITCHEN.

I mean, DUDE, it was like...bitchin' and stuff. I was so excited that my nads were like, all up in my face and stuff....

Mmm-hmm...then when we get down to it, you were REALLY sitting in a battery-powered, Barney Wave-n-fun-slide, in an inflatable kiddie pool, when a strong wind came by and made a wave. Right?

LOL, uhm no. I gots me two SUV1200's and a 26 foot Sailfish with twin Yamaha 250 HP engines.
 
Sounds cool! - I live on the water and have had boats forever but I was never even on a Waverunner (Jetski, whatever).
BTW - That guy should go to hell if he was really throwing a 15 foot wake in a navigable channel.
