Anyone see this movie? Al Pacino is really great in it, he didn't put in one of his 'going through the motions' performances of his later career. Since the subject matter is so depressing, I think having a great performance from Pacino helps balance it out and make it enjoyable to watch.
I didn't know anything about Jack Kevorkian until watching it, and upon reading up a bit this is definitely a pro-Kevorkian film. I think for all the criticisms that his methods were unsound, it seems like you have to give this eccentric man some credit for bringing attention to (starting?) the euthanasia movement. In the end even if he helped some people who could have been healed, over the long run his work will have a positive impact (depending on your point of view of course).
