Paulbots really need to be put in their place and humiliated at this point for supporting this guy. I wouldn't call him "racist", but fact is he's OK personally and financially supporting racist words/persons, and taking donations from them. Probably the #1 thing I don't want in a modern-day politician next to being ideological instead of practical.

Oh man that's so much worse than taking money and supporting the word/persons/actions of those who would steal everything you have and allow millions to starve. Please. This kind of "racism" doesn't fucking matter and you know it. Your stupid ass just wants to keep the status quo, keep repeating the mantra of the divide. You hypocritical illogical dipshits.

PS I don't like hypocrites and I wouldn't vote for Ron Paul, but really? If you use this as a reason not to vote for Ron Paul or why no one should, then no one should vote for ANY major party candidate because if they do they're pieces of shit who support mass rape/murder/etc/etc/etc.

The July 1992 Ron Paul Political Report declares, “Jury verdicts, basketball games, and even music are enough to set off black rage, it seems,” and defends David Duke. The author of the newsletter—presumably Paul—writes, “My youngest son is starting his fourth year in medical school. He tells me there would be no way to persuade his fellow students of the case for economic liberty.”

He did not know what he was publishing, or he really was not the publisher he just let people use his name, or .......

Wow. Hadn't really looked into this until the stories coming out today. What a scumbag. I wouldn't have guessed it from him, but the evidence is pretty damning.

Best case scenario is that RP isn't a racist, but has no issue talking like one if it makes a buck off of hate-filled rightwing fucktards. Disturbing that he is largely getting away with it.. what does that say?

Yeah, I agree. Considering the candidates that are left, as a Republican, I can't help but feel depressed. Looks like our best chance is in 2016.

Well the funny thing about recognizing black rage is that by recognizing it exists you recognize that black people have been brought up repressed by the white society at large. so i fail to see how his usage of "black rage" can be deemed racist. though i can totally see how someone who is uneducated and ignorant of the term would think such. this is why you should always research the subjects you're reading about or just shut the fuck up and never mention shit.

Also, have you not heard of "white rage" lately? I guess that's all racist bullshit too.

Not voting for someone because they're a huge racist is a perfectly reasonable reason not to vote for a particular candidate. It is one of the most odious qualities in a person.

'Black rage' is something good lawyers use to get their black defendents acquitted for killing white people. I've seen riots over hockey games, verdicts, and music. All of these were done by white people.

It sure is, but the moment you support any other major candidate I'm calling you a piece of shit hypocrite and wishing for your slow death for perpetuating the issues that hold back this world. You cannot come out and bemoan Paul for this shit then ignore the other bullshit other candidates support. Is the rape of trillions of dollars, "the death of the American Dream" like so many like to say, is better or worse than one mans "racism"? really? Mind you he doesn't support in institutionalized racism, so you won't see him getting behind laws that are such, so what's the deal? We have major leaders from the R and D which take blood money, sell us out constantly, you don't care. You keep voting for them. In fact I bet First has given money to Obama's campaign already. He's a pathetic hypocrite and I'm here to call him out on it. I do not care if Paul wins or loses, I just give a fuck about hypocrisy and the arbitrary bullshit standards/rules that morons like you set.

That makes no sense unless people are supporting another racist.

They're different issues.

Mind you he doesn't support in institutionalized racism, so you won't see him getting behind laws that are such, so what's the deal?

That's all code. Of course he's not going to outright say it now that he's desperately trying to run away from his racist history. However, his entire platform is perfectly fine with institutionalized racism. His entire platform is almost identical to those who support institutional racism.

Sorry, but Ron Paul is a racist and he's completely unelectable because he's the biggest racist since George Wallace.

There is no hypocrisy for not supporting a racist old man like Ron Paul and supporting any other non-racist candidate.

I've known about these racist Ron Paul incidents for quite some time. These are much older than four years, too. It came up in the 90's, too. Sheesh, you don't really know much about this racist old man at all!

I can't wait until Ron Paul retires.

I am not sure WTF you are writing about. I was referring to Mr Paul's explanation about the content in the Newsletters that bore his name.

Oh, I think I understand. You are justifying the racist content of Ron Paul's newletters on the basis of "White Rage".

This is new information about Ron Paul's racism. Even his former employees are confirming his hand in this whole racist mess.

During the last Republican debate, the candidates were asked for possible Hispanics that they would consider for the Cabinet. Ron Paul was the only candidate not to provide a name. He looked extremely uncomfortable.

Good point. Did his racist newsletters say anything against Hispanics?

The ones I've read have focused primarily on African-Americans. This makes sense since Ron Paul is from an era of Jim Crow and his political career is from the 80s/90s paranoia environment (fears of crack epidemic, etc.) that resulted in much negative sentiment.

But you would think that a Congressman from Texas would be able to think of some Hispanic leaders.

Did he shrink into his ill fitting suit like a turtle shrinking into its shell when he couldn't even name a single Hispanic person?
