But Patrick, who turns 70 next month, indicated he’s willing to put his own survival on the line in exchange for “keeping the America that all America loves” for future generations.
And if that’s the exchange, I’m all in,” he told Tucker Carlson, adding there are “lots of grandparents” who agree.
“My message is that let’s get back to work, let’s get back to living, let’s be smart about it, and those of us who are 70-plus, we’ll take care of ourselves. But don’t sacrifice the country,” he said.
I wonder if this concern for making America great for future generations extends to climate action, or if the Almighty Dow will save them all.

I wonder what he will do if he gets sick.

Go to a doctor or stay home and take his chances?

Oh please the moment he has the sniffles he'll be all like "I'm the LT Governor!!" and demanding a private hospital room with 2 ventilators just in case the 1st doesn't work.

I could see him doing that, especially since sniffles aren't part of the symptoms. :p

Britt Hume backs up sacrificing old people. BTW - He's in his mid 70s. Any Trump supporters here willing to send their parents or grandparents into those disintegration chambers?

So, what I'm hearing is that he's willing to go be a janitor at a hospital, and Wal-Mart (after all he should have two jobs if he's really looking to boost the economy)?

This is getting properly scary. It's one thing if a Lieutenant Governor makes a stupid off-hand remark; it's another thing when Fox News is parroting that message. Are Trump drones genuinely willing to murder hundreds of thousands or millions of people just to say the stores are open?

Right-wing authoritarians will do or think whatever their right-wing leader tells them.

If you are dumb enough to live in Texas, then maybe so ... anything to end the misery of having such dumb fucks in power.

Sounds a lot like Auschwitz. Govenor should be ashamed of himself.
