I do not see $1,500 worth of value in Google Glass. I do think the technology has a future, but not at that pricepoint, and not with it's current specs.

I don't think I'd buy it at any price right now. It's still too big and obnoxious looking. I mean everyone that wears these things in public looks like a dork.

Price and size need to shrink quite a bit and I'm sure that's still years away. So I wouldn't be surprised if this thing is a fad that just disappears eventually, maybe to resurface again years later when technology catches up and do this right.

Had access for a couple months now. Amazed how quickly I got an invite for the beta. Just can't bring myself to spend $1500 on it. If it were $2-300 I'd consider it as I see that stuff as really cool and think there are some awesome applications for it.

But for $1500 I can justify that.

Not sure if true, but this was in the article comments:

You have to agree with their terms of service. Better read close, Especially the part that says . you may not resell, loan, or transfer ownership without written approval from google. The service will be disconnected and no refunds.
