Delivering Amazon orders to your local neighborhoods. And sounds like many of us could get a loan to get it started if not already having the cash. Sorry if the title sounds like a spam ad but wanted to emphasize that we could own a small company like this which sounds cool. Hey, (Anand poster) just delivered my 1080 Ti!

Except the details of the operation can be a big fat hassle like hiring good drivers and other employees. Could try hiring your relatives. Good luck with the latter in getting along with them even if they are technically & physically qualified.

Wow! Lots of driving AND dealing with entitled pricks. Sounds wonderful...

I would like a 1080 ti delivered too. But any true Anandtecher would endure being an escort and posting an epic thread about the experience sooner than deal with this.

Independent contractor is technically a small business, but mostly it just saves your employer money.

This works out to only $695 a month profit on each truck. Not really worth it in my opinion.

I'd pay 10X extra to get some Mac & Cheese delivered by Madoka in that fine European sports car.

On the surface this just seems like a way for Amazon to pass benefit liabilities on to someone else.
