If you told someone that you had 7 computers at your house, they'd probably think you're crazy.

I'm about to get my 8th computer soon. It's going to be another server. 😀

Well, I repair PC's for a living so I have like eleventy billion computers around here and parts for like another billion or so. 😛

We have 3 that are on CONSTANTLY! There are probably another 5 or 6 around here somewhere...not counting a laptop that is in use daily.

Parts? HAHAHAHAHA I don't even want to go there. It's like a massive computer graveyard here. The sad thing is...I don't even know what most of the stuff is!

My oldest son reminds me of my brother who probably still has the first computer he ever owned lying around his house. Can anyone say Commodore 64?

Me too. But at my top I had 5 pc's and 1 laptop. I just don't have the need anymore. I streamlined my operation and consolidated functions.
 
2/3 pcs.. one laptop

one of the pcs is an htpc where all my roommates threw their spare parts in to make it.. It's convenient for us..

oh ya.. in my condo.. let's see..

8 pcs total, 3 laptops, 2 replay tvs.. Ya.. we're nerds (3 other roommates).

 
Just sold parts for 4 old ones. Have 3 desktops and 1 laptop left. They're all pretty new too.

Out of curiosity, for those with a number of servers, what are you running (OS and app's) & how do you have them divided? I've been thinking about redoing all mine and am trying to decide what should run on each system.

Well my room in my apartment at school currently has 6 desktops and a laptop, all mostly work. I had 2 more before I donated them to a radio station tonight. At home, there's like 4 put together and way too many other spare parts but you can never have enough.
 
2 laptops, another coming in the mail, 14 desktops, all in my bedroom... 🙂

Hey, if anybody could help, could some one give me an idea of how I could put these computers or at least some of them in some sort of tower or something? I would like to kind of stack them up, hook them up to a massive KVM switch and then give them tasks similar to U1 servers...
