You can make $20 an hour easier than you think

Read an article about a woman who decided to sell hotdogs from a cart on the street. She sells $600 worth in a week and clears $400 of that, working 10:30-2 daily in Denver. All it cost her to get started was $5K for the cart and about $400 worth of city permits.

Dude, you need to go to school to relearn math skills!

I see people posting looking for work, don't know why they aren't jumping on $15-25/hour internships then.

Get an internship. Most of them pay $15-25 easily. Some of the internships are so lax, that it's just rediculous.

uhm, ok.

Well to get those internships you have to first qualify (degree, grades, graduation year). Then you gotta interview and get hired. After that, you probably have to relocate for a semester or two. Not very easy, but it is doable.

so, the majority of you are flattered when a coroporation tells you an hour of your life forever gone is worth $20?

y4y!!!!

Carl Karcher started out selling hotdogs from a cart in Los Angeles. I don't know the whole story about how he parlayed that cart into an empire, but he did.

Ok, here

Looks like you can get the whole story by clicking on the various links.

Hmmm. Appears you can't go straight to the page. Click or Corporate, About CKE, then CKE History.

No we are very very depressed when we get paid $20 for an hour of our life that never ever come back.

i know a lot of people getting paid more than that right out of school...

also: i hear if you work as a scent sprayer at the mall (for the distributor, not the mall) you start at 20 an hour.

Ron Shauch the CEO of Panera Bread started out selling cookies out in front of his basement walkout apartment in NYC, the man is dripping in money now.

It's all about taking on the risk.

Yeah but you gotta be HOT for that job. Ugly mofos like me aren't even allowed to apply.

lax just like your spelling!

and really, how much steady work can you get out of scent smelling? i mean, its not like the perfume industry grows and advances by leaps and bounds every week.

Get a loan for a catering truck for 30 grand and a partner and hit all the construction sites. There is decent money doing this. Get the city park food vendors license and just work a couple nights a week selling at the softball games and tournaments. You will be whole on your investment in a year. Convenience food vending can be very profitable without dealing with razor thin profit margins or staffing headaches.
