The Register's motto is "Biting the hand that feeds IT", so they never claimed to be
unbiased. As for their reporting otherwise, they are as at least as legitimate IMO as
Toms Hardware and Slashdot, and maybe a bit behind AT. They deliberately create
a tabloid style to report in, but I've found them less likely to fall for hype as some other
sites.

What I found more interesting from the article is the lack of support for right-to-left languages
in MS apps. If Openoffice or some alternative suite can be recognized as providing that support
before MS does, then that may have a significant boost in support for those suites.
