Ok, here is the story:
The local homeowners association has taken it upon themselves to try and change the names of two streets in my subdivision. The reasons they want to do this are:
1) There are duplicate streets with the same name all around the city, making it difficult to directions
2) Another street with the same name exists only 1/4th of a mile away
3) Currently the street names are as bland as could be, just a number followed by AVE or DR, while other streets in the neigborhood have much more "pleasing names"
As of now, the Association has suggested some names ( Tulip Lane, Rose Hill Drive
) that are not very good.
I've been given a form to submit any new suggestions, and have about a week to turn it in. So, I turn to you, the people of ATOT for some suggestions as to my possible new address. Feel free to submit what you like, but some things to keep in mind are:
1) I live in the Pacific Northwest (Portland Metro Area)
2) Surrounding streets have "alpine" sounding names, so it would be nice to continue the pattern
3) The name would preferably be unique (duh!)
Edit: You can use MelissaData to see if a name is already taken in Oregon, PDX, etc.
Have fun folks, I know what a great think tank ATOT is, and thanks again!
