Hi,

Here's the BBC story.

Personally, I have no idea why this person still resides freely in the uk.

Please take him away.

Pretty please.

🙂

What kind of charges is he going to face in the US?

edit: n/m

BBC social affairs correspondent Daniel Sandford said the extradition was thought to be linked to alleged terrorism-related offences.

He said the US would not have to produce its full case against the cleric, but would have to show "evidence of evidence".

Hopefully they have real evidence instead of another move with no or bad evidence. That would be an embarassment.

BBC social affairs correspondent Daniel Sandford said the extradition was thought to be linked to alleged terrorism-related offences.

The United States authorities have been collecting evidence against Mr Abu Hamza and this was likely to be the start of a lengthy court battle, he added.

He spends all of his time spouting anti-US, UK, etc. hate - yet he lives in the uk (with citizenship) with his extended family on our benefit system! He's too radical for most muslims too - he's banned from preaching in his local mosque and so performs his diatribes in the street outside instead - complete with goons wearing headscarfs over their faces, etc.

As the article says, you shouldn't lock someone up for shouting their hideous beliefs, however bad, but I'm sure it goes deeper than that with him.
