I was writing an email at work, and when I spell checked it, I had to replace the word "pic" with "pick" 4 TIMES!!

Me too but if you were referring to anything else then it wasn't our fault. I don't see many people around here who use pic when they mean pick. If you don't believe me, do a quick search for pick and see how many results come up :)

"Pic" or "Pics" is not an AT-exclusive term; it's a commonly-used abbreviation for "pictures." Everyone knows what "pics" are.

If you put "pick" that's incorrect. Pick means to choose or pick is a tool.

Oh, I meant the work pick an in "I'm picking my nose" (only that's not what I said)

My brain said pick and my hands typed pic

Add "pic" to the spell-check dictionary just for good measure and learn to use the damn English language better. ;)
