So I only have one buddy listed (Anndtech Moderator) since I have no other friends here 🙁
However, this morning when I logged in a buddy by the name of fdn pr6ou8h was listed in my buddy list and Anandtech Moderator was missing: see this pic for proof: NotMyBuddy.JPG
I searched for that user and they do not appear to exist, but they are still showing on my buddy list!
Has anyone else ever had a problem like this? Seems very strange to me 😕

A few months ago, we were hacked, and part of what we did was to lock the real Mod account and set up a temporary Mod account with extra spaces in the name so the hacker would not be able to log onto ours. They appeared the same on the forums, but they were not the same account.
This had a side effect that others would PM that account. Now that we are back on our regular Mod account, we wanted to stop any other PM's to the temporary one so I altered the user name for that account.
Add the real account to your Buddy list, and all will be will back to the normal AT chaos. 🙂

That is odd. He is a member here with 0 posts (which is why you can't see him) and he has an interesting first and last name.
