I have a user (my boss naturally) that when she tries to pull up ANY website she gets the above error msg. I've dug around and can not get it fixed.
Anyone have any insight?

Thanks in advance.

You dont mention the OS, the browser, the network config, or anything that could remotely let someone try and assist you There is really nothing in your post to respond to other than its glaring lack of detail 😉

good points 🙂 was a rush job as I was running out the door.

Windows XP, IE 6.x, DHCP, proxy server (CyBlock) though that is configured properly and is working for everyone else (and did for her up until today).

Im immedately suspicious of the proxy server (since this is an auth error). Any chance your allowed ip list for the proxy doesnt fully overlap the DHCP scope?

But NOBODY else in the office is having any issues with it. I will take her off the proxy and see what happens.

Yes, thats why I asked if perhaps the proxy allowed ip list didn't match the DHCP servers scope. Perhaps she and only she got an ip outside of the allowed range.

yeah removing her from the proxy works (duh) now I just have to figure out why thats occurring. Though in the long run it doesn't matter too much.
