Every time I open Internet Explorer, I get a Windows Installer message that pops up and says that the feature I am trying to use is on a network that is unavailable. I can hit cancel and access the webpage regardless, though.

When I open any Microsoft Office program, though, it says that the file does not have a program that is associated with it, and to check the installation source. I cannot open any of these programs, and this is very bad because this is my work computer and I need to be able to.

I have tried various solutions, such as downloading the Windows 2000 service pack fix, but that didn't do anything either. It has been quite some time now, and I don't know what else to do. You are my only hope!

helllllllpppppppp please :(

You need to reinstall office, this time using the "complete" option. MS shouldn't even bother letting users install "run from cd" anymore because all it does it cause problems.

I told you you'd need the install CD.

You could also try downloading an office viewer from the web to temporarily solve your problem until your tech guys get their act together...
