Why haven't there been any good old mass protests on the steps of the white house recently? You would think with all this sh!t going on, there would have been.

yeah i seen that earlyer today. scarry stuff.

i really hope it does not pass. i just dont see how looking at what movies i rent, what books i checkout, my e-mail or such will help them find a terroist.

anyway it would not have stopped sept 11th attack. If the INS, FBI etc wasnt so messed up then they could have stopped it.

That's a pretty big leap to make from info gleaned from one OP/Ed piece. Can you provide any facts pertaining to this or are you basing your entire argument on one isolated Safire diatribe?
