Fardingle, how did you get your cats to do tricks? My cat is a fat, lazy lazy! That lazy, she's so damn lazy. Everytime I try to play games with her, like fetch, she looks at me like I'm the crazy one. She's probably thinking, "what kind of animal do you think I am? Dumbass! Now go fetch that stick, boy!"

Of course I go fetch the stick. Who's running the show around here...

LOL, thats what i like about cats. They do something when THEY want to do it, not because YOU want them to do it. :)

Definitely a cat person. Can't stand yappy little ankle biting mutts. And big dogs just get in the way, swipe stuff off the table with their tails, and my god, are they noisy!

Cats are full of charm and grace, and most of the time love you just as much as a dog; only in their own special way.....;) -kd5-

For a change, anybody has a bunny pet?
I have 3 that live indoor with me and I think they are superb.
Easy to litter train, don't make unnecessary sound, so you sleep like a baby.
For most people, rabbits don't cause allergic reaction.
Rabbits are very smart and very sensitive animals, I can vouch for that.
It may take more time to let the rabbit show their personality, but boy it's worth it.

kyutip: African pygmy hedgehogs kick rabbit ass. :D Quite cool little animals, and they definitely take time to "make friends" -- it's usually about 2-3 weeks before they start trusting you.

On cats, why would you purposefully bring an animal into your house (I assume it's in the house -- any roaming cats should be shot, IMO) whose pee can ruin anything and everything it touches? Masochism?

Besides, when have you ever heard of a "rescue cat"? Or, a "seeing eye cat"? Dogs have purposes and usefulness -- cats just exist. :D
