Yosemite in ultra HD, short video, awesome!

Does anyone have a 4K device to watch this on?

This is the first time I've seen YT list 4K as an option, I didn't know they were going to start doing so, IDK if bandwidth will be an issue, sometimes I'll drop down to 480 just to stop buffering, I guess it all depends on your ISP, traffic at any given time as to how well YT works.

Hmm 4k display made the video ultra choppy not even counting the buffering. My computer is clearly not fast enough for it. 🙁

Just for shits and giggles I tried the 4k setting, it would not display correctly on my monitor, just a jiggling mostly green screen.

its working for for me on a 1440p monitor

it might be 4k but you can still see the compression artifacts

Nice, I was freaking out at first thought were a couple pixel acting up but where just a few dust particles on the monitor.

I did see a few things that shifted in the recording looked artifacts but good one.

I saw something similar awhile back I think was an observatory in South America.

Still just doing 2560 X 1080P 29 WM here, but still.

My old home. Lived 45 minutes down Hwy 140 from there for 15 years and worked in the park for a total of seven years. When I retire I'm definitely going to get a place back in Mariposa County for easy access to Yosemite.

Yea, I got one of those cheap Acer "23 when Newegg had 'em for $109, I like it but it's max resolution is 1920X1080 so it coughed and sputtered at 4k LOL, still got a great deal on it though at that price, and zero dead pixels plus decent contrast I can't complain..

I see a market for tilt correction monitor stands.

Also, what's up with ATOT not auto-shrinking that image to fit the forum flow? I also get html instead of board code when I quote at the moment. VB is borked it seems.
Nevermind, the latest update of No-Script took ATOT off the white list.

All of nature is beautiful but for many there is something about mountains, deep valleys and lofty peaks that inspire us.

I almost think these time lapse systems are the best way to view nature.
I've been out and in it many times, but you just cant see things the same way with your eyes. I'd love to learn how they do all this and somehow make it a job. Would also be awesome to get some of those gigapixel super zoom type images setup.
