So, my daughter wants to attend college there. Aside from the rosy, pastoral picture the school presents online, does anyone have either first hand experience, or some knowledge of this place? Thanks.
 
Tell her to apply to F&M and/or Dickinson, both almost in the same area and both are much beetter schools
i can comment a bit on the school itself and a bunch on the area and PA in general
 
I don't know why someone would pick that place in particular. 3 people from my HS went there (out of state) and they weren't specializing in anything. I went to visit one of them that decided to stay in the area after school - it's not exactly "financially sound"... not the place I would recommend to stay - that's for sure. I played in a hockey tournament there though - great ice rinks. 😉
 
Her interest is in television, and she wants to major in Mass Communication. She tells me the school is quite good for this. But I don't know. That's why I'm asking.
