YMMV: Staples 10off10 and 30off150 coupon via mail

EDIT: I posted this because it seems like Staples might be giving a 10off10 instore couponcard and a 30off150 online coupon for signing up for their email list right now. Apologies if I placed it wrong.

Not sure if anyone else has gotten this in the mail, but I received a $10 'welcome' card from staples in teh mail for instore purchases ($10 off $10 coupon essentially) and a 16-digit 30 off 150 for online purchases in the regular mail recently. I was trying to figure out why they sent it to me and the only thing I could come up with was that I signed up a second email address recently to their email list (although I don't remember giving them my physical address). Anyone have any experience with this as to why it got sent? IF it was just for signing up then that's pretty sweet.

I got one as well at work. I have several email accounts with Staples, but none are new. Don't know wha I only got one but it is on the account I probably use the least, so maybe that explains it?

I'm sure that it's an in-store only coupon and is on a plastic card. I got one of these several months back. It's a one time use 16 digit coupon.

I believe those "coupons" are sent out as a thank-you for signing up for Staples Business Rewards...
