One day left on this if it works.

I needed 300 CD-Rs and noticed them on sale at OM for $19.99 (no rebates). When I took them to the counter to check out, 3 rebate receipts and rebate forms printed out for this item. They have a new POS system that prints out the rebate forms with the receipt so it may be a glitch but the description on the receipt was "Memorex 16x CD-R 100pk Spindle"

This is probably a YMMV as I couldn't find much info on the rebate so I took a $1.11 gamble. May be free, may not.

I'm not really following how you only took a $1.11 gamble on these wouldn't it be like a $60 gamble for 3 packs?

sorry.

I needed the 300 CD-Rs anyway so I had to spend $60. The $1.11 was for 3 x $0.37 for the stamps to mail the rebates.

no tax where you buy things? envelopes and photocopies are free too? you don't pay for gas to drive to stores? your time is valueless? 2 months of opportunity cost of the capital involved is of zero dollars? aparently things cost merely postage where you are. i would like to move there.
