I know thats right baby, I got in on one of my old faves TUNE (microtune - semiconducters) at $2.35. Sold at $3.00 then got back in at $3.35. Closed at nearly 4 bucks today.

Right now everything is going up. Even turds like CMGI.

Just be the first out the door with your money. ;)

My retired dad makes about 10K a day when he decides to trade. Buys only one stock (Intel) and sells once it goes up $.10. Does this 10-20 times in a day it adds up. Seems like a weak way to make money IMO. .

haha that's what i would do, but it isn't really worth it when you only have 1000 to start out with :(

although i have 23 free trades to use up... i could probably get 100 today if i wanted to. 10% return in a day isn't bad.

damn now that i look at it that way, i think i'm going to go do it. just bought some biotech stock that sank (before i bought it) :p

it's all about the limit orders... just set it and forget it :)

What does he use for his trading? He must use a company with either very low commisson or he has a very large quanities of stocks to play with. If I made 10k a day... hell, Id only work a month of the year and live large :p

Like I said I don't really like it or consider it a honerable job, taking little bites out of the market. Hell he did'nt even know much of anything about Intel. But he explained it all to me and my bros yesterday. He buys a biggie like Intel because it won't drop to much and he said will always go up even if it takes a day dive. Then he says he likes this scheme because you are 99% of time out of the market when trading closes, this way if something terrible happens overnight, you won't be stuck with loses.
Anyway he has some forumla he uses when to buy and 10 cents profit is always his sell time. He says don't get greedy.

He uses scottstrade and plays with about 300-500K:Q

Saves it I guess, My parents go overseas about every 3 months for a 2-3 week stretch, and sometimes take grandkids. But that's really about it. They grew up after the war in europe so I think that why they are so frugal.

A month ago I could have bought RBAK at $.28/share. It has been as high as $57 init's hey day. It is at $1.14 now and going up. A 400% gain on investment is nothing to sneeze at. Give it a look see.;)
