I got back from my college Day on Campus, done signing up for all my classes, etc. (Purdue), and while I was talking to the ROTC Officer, he told me that 80-90% of the cadets wind up receiving full-ride scholarships. After hearing all my qualifications (GPA, major, experience, etc.), He said that I would almost definately wind up with one. :D Needless to say, this is quite happy news for my parents and myself... out of state tuition is teh major suck.

Just felt like sharing my jubilation :)

Pretty smooth. I didn't do any testing... I am confident that I did well on my AP tests, and I am going to start from scratch on a new language, so I didnt bother with that. We wandered around a bit, checked out the dorm (Wiley, which is actually very nice), grabbed some lunch, talked to the ROTC guys, signed up for classes, and headed home. I'm looking forward to August :D

I can't seem to access my schedule on SSINFO.. I donno if they don't have it up yet or something... but I will try to remember the course numbers..

CS 108 (180?)
CS 192 (I think)
ENG 180C (again, I think that's the number.. accellerated english)
MA 165 (Calc I, but once my AP results come in it should be calc II)
SPA 101 (spanish... I hated french, and I figured this would be more useful)
MSL 101 (Military Science and Leadership)

That's correct as far as I can remember... It's like 17.5 credits, so I am going to be pretty busy between coding and ROTC. :p

You have no idea...unless you're a fast (and good) coder.

I know it's going to be busy... but I have a lot of incentive to keep up (About $100,000 of incentive!)
