jus put my hand on my video card and it burns!!!!!!!!!!

the thing is red hot on the back of the card (under neath the chip)

its a stock 9500pro

anyone know about 3rd party heat sinks and ram sinks for this card?

It can run that hot and still be fine; unless you plan to overclock.

My cousin owns a "made by ATI" Radeon 9500 pro, he had the same issue you did, the thing would get so hot he would have to swap out the card just to let it cool! You could invest in some memory heatsinks and that may help if you notice the ram getting hot, but other than that, i would just stick with the stock heatsink, it would be more trouble than it's worth to upgrade that aspect of the card.

Video cards run hotter than hell. My bro had a CL TNT that would burn your fingers.

zalman fb123 This will help move heat away from the back of your card. Inexpensive with a low noise fan.
