Haha, actually i used text messaging 9/10 while over there. Just wish the system over here worked half as well as it did over there.

2000 minutes per month really isnt all that much. I have been doing that for a couple of years. My roomate does at least 5000, and that is almost all done after 9pm. I had a boss that did something like 12,000 minutes a month on his phone. God bless unlimited incoming minutes with Nextel😀

You're using T-Mobile, right?

I hope you got in on their 3,000 minutes for $59.99/mo

Or consider switching to AT&T Wireless's unlimited for $99/mo

yeah i use roughly 1600 minutes per month on my cell phone - my cell is my only phone also..i hope all of those minutes aren't during the day 🙂

I usually use somewhere in the area 0f 4-5000 minutes a month, with the highest probably being 8000 one month.

Actually i switched to Sprint at the beginning of this month. 80% of my minutes are night/weekend/pcs to pcs so im not paying extra for it (THANK GOD)...

My company switched to Nextel because my cell bill was like $550 a month with Verizon. With 20 phones, now I just eat up everyone else's minutes, 🙂. What's nice is I never see the bill!

From the amount of people who have complained about those two services, you'd have to pay me to use it. Thank god Verizon has good coverage.

*knock on wood*

In the almost 4 years (signed up April 1999) I have been with T-Mobile (formerly VoiceStream Wireless) I have had no major issues with them.

Yea, i loved vstream/tmobile until last spring. AT&T put up GSM towers all over South Florida to the point where my phone would get confused on what network to use, it would just stay on 'Emergency Only' 95% of the time, even though i had all 5 bars of service. Got annoying after awhile so i finally gave up.

Welp i slowed down a tad...

A little over a week to go and i only used 1300 minutes this month 🙂

Your roomie spends almost 3 hours a night on his cellphone? Holy fvck batman, he needs a hobby. Damn.

I have 2000 anytime, unlimited nights and weekends, and unlimited Sprint PCS to PCS minutes with mine. I use it all the time, and never even pick up the home phone.

You're in Long Island right? I've had no problems with Vstream/Tmobile on LI and also upstate. When I was out in Montauk over the summer I wouldn't get any service on the beach but closer to rte.27 was ok. ATTWS, now that's another story.

Yes I am on LI. I know people with Sprint complain when we go up to Vermont for ski/snowboard trips. I get 4 bars digital and they get no coverage. Don't even start with Nextel, as a friend has that and always borrows my phone.

I've found some spotty coverage areas on the island that Verizon seems to do the best out of the majro carriers.

I hit 2100 one month🙂 I didn't have a home phone so I used my cell to call everyone, from friends to utility companies. Plus my gf was away so I spent a lot of time talking (more like she talks, I listen).
