Yikes! Shooting at my daughters middle school today!

Some kid brought a gun to my daughters school and fired a couple shots. Thankfully no one was hurt. But my kid was in the next hall and a teacher pulled her into his classroom when the shots were heard.

School shootings has been happening in schools here and there. Five years ago, there was a shooting here in Oregon killing four and injuring 22 or so.

I concur as well.

make the parents do an incredible amount of community service/school service. This is the only punishment I think is worthwhile. Most other options will damage or even cripple a family in a financial aspect, which is something that will just lead to worse things. Pay for the near miss by giving up your free time.
