(Be serious here folks, please. Go work up your post count elsewhere if you have'nt a clue on what to add)

On Ebay as a seller, what would someone's reason be for.....

Accepting Paypal MO, or Cashiers Check on all their "lower" priced auctions and on all their higher priced items, accept only Money Orders/Cashiers Checks, excluding PP alltogether?
I thought PayPal was safer than a Cashiers Check or Money Order.......? I've heard horror stories for all 3 but............ My question please ;)

And if someone sends a fraudulent USPS MO, they could end up in a FPMITAP. Also, USPS MO can be cashed right in a post office, so you can have cash on hand for the big ticket items without having to worry about charge backs and stuff.

That makes sense but he could offer non-CC Paypal only. For people that actually have that much in their PP acct.

That sounds good. I thought it was togh as hell to fraud a USPS MO. That's all I use when sending MO's.

That's against the Paypal/eBay TOS and eBay will end your auction if you say "Paypal non-CC funds only" in it.

It probably is really hard to make a fraudulent USPS MO, but if someone was actually able to do so, then there are some serious repercussions in store for that scammer.

I did not know that. Luckily I've never run into it.

When did ebay started doing that? I've always put that quote into my payment method.

And if someone gets mad they can e-mail eBay or if eBay sees it your auction will be dead.

I just say Money order or can take payment online (No CC). I jut sleave out Paypal and give the info in a email aftre the auction ends. If you accept paypal through eBay your can NOT deny payment now. I have had a auction twice messed up as they both paid in CC even though my auction says I do not take CC.
