It alleges that screen and controls in the Nano are beneath a film of resin much thinner than in other models. It alleges that other versions of the iPod do not scratch as easily because they are covered in a thicker, stronger plastic coat.

What bullsh!t. how does the thickness of material alter the amount it scratches? would a 1-foot thick slab of the plastic get a less-scratched surface than a 1/2 foot thick slab?

it's the exact same plastic as every single other iPod ever made. The only difference is they are black and the scratches are more obvious.

The screens cracking was the fault of the LCD manufacturers and is being or has been fixed.

Finally, these people are tards for not thinking about putting shiny plastic things with sharp metal things in their pockets then walking about. My iPod is coming up to three years of age and isn't badly scratched at all, despie my not using a case for it.

It's another example of the US "Do-something-stupid,-realise-your-mistake-then-try-and-sue-because-you-don't-w
nt-to-accept-responsibility for-your-own-actions-and-of-course-are-hugely-greedy" scenarios which makes the world that little bit worse for everyone.
