Yet another thread in the wrong forum...Photoshop question!

I'm pretty sure photoshop has a function that can rename "DSC0001.jpg" to "bobs_party_01.jpg", and so on and so on. How does one go about doing this? Is it a batch function?

ACDSee would be better for doing that.

I use a program called file renamer. I don't know about photoshop.

In Photoshop 7 and up, just open the file browser in PS (now called Bridge in CS2), right click your images and select Batch Rename
