I'll be building a computer for my little brother in the next coupla months. Prolly use an Athlon 4/mp/xp whatever 1.6 or whatever is the fastest at the end of octoberish, on a kt266a or nforce 220 or 220D mobo. Either way, I'll have a radeon 8500 in it, one 7200 rpm harddrive (prolly a barracuda IV from seagate, 7200 rpm), a sound card, a modem, and a NIC. I intend on getting the thermal fan controlled, dual fan, enermax eg365-p-ve(fc) 350W PS, and stick it in an antec sx600, an enlight 7237, or a hawk x (linkified). The thing won't be oc'ed, and i am trying for the quietest air-cooled (note: don't know jack bout watercooling and neither does he) setup possible as far as fan selection. Any ideas? I was thinking of maybe putting a panaflo L1A 60mm on the heatsink (prolly an sk6, or maybe the vantec 6035 or whatever), and using the enermax thermal control 80mm's for intake and exhaust (from newegg, to save on shipping). In the case of the Hawk X, which only has an 80mm intake and 40mm exhaust, I'll have to find a generic 40mm or use the one on their website (blah, 40mm).With the L1A for the HSF, I'll prolly just wait and find out what the retail HSF on the athlon's cfm is, and try to match it being quieter. Do I even really need to bother with an intake AND exhaust fan? Am I good on cooling, you think? Just don't want to buy unnecessary fans and waste his money if I don't have to. Also note, I would like to keep a positive pressure (at least, have no negative pressure) cause I don't think he'll ever really clean the thing out, so no dust is good. I might even use filters for the fans.
I know I'm rambling, its been a long week... anyone have some input, or ideas? Hopefully, I'll sell him on the enlight 7237 or the antec sx600, cause that hawk x is nice, but I think too expensive... not like he has the other components to match or wants to spend the money on them, the rest of the parts will be standard beige/grey. And I understand this ramble might be difficult to answer due to the fact that the Pallies aren't out yet, and the fact that I don't even think I could understand this if I read it again, so please bear with me... thanks. And I promise I'll try to use paragraphs next time when I am coherent.

P.S.- He is a computer hardware dummy, and he doesn't live with me (he's just visiting) and he will have noone to screw around inside his case once he goes back home unless I manage to teach him some crap, So I'm trying to set him up to where he won't have to screw with it, and keep it simple just in case he does.
