Is it possible to be scammed by someone who is willing to pay with a USPS Money Order?
"Thanks for the response, okay no problem since you said the item is still available.and also in good condition,i will give you $1100 for the ( 17" Powerbook. Barely Used. Lots of Programs and Accessories!)...and i will be glad by making my payment through U.S Postal Money Order, and you will be able to track your money order.so all i will just need from you now in other to proceed with my payment...is your full name and your address...so that i can quickly start the payment processing through U.S Postal Money Order since the ( U.S.P.S) office is just a few blocks to my working place.and as soon as the payment has been approved with the U.S Postal Money Order,i will send you the Pre-paid shipping documents which you will print out and paste on the package box because am sending the package to my nephew in oversea for new year gift...so i will also send you my FedEx account number which you will tender at the FedEx Kinko's before droping the package off at the place,so that all the shipping and handling bills will be charge on my account...ok?. so kindly let me know if there is a FedEx location around you there. Thanks and hope to hear back from you asap... "

I got offered to be paid by money order from another peson as well, but they want it shipped to london. I don't think it matters where it's going as long as I have the money in hand. Just making sure. Thanks a lot.

seems fishy. Make it very clear you are not shipping until the money is cleared and in your hand...no matter how much he pushes you!

Notice how he lays out all the steps he WANTS you to. In agonizing detail. "which you will print out and paste on the package box"

Give me a break. Tell him send money, wait for it to actually be in your hand...then ship. I doubt he will pay

yep. we need a sticky here I guess. Do NOT ship until AFTER you have cashed the MO.

The first "offer" is a complete scam.
