So why is it terrible/horrific if it wasn't all gorey and gross? I watched a vid of that car vs train crash that happened in Kentucky recently where 2 students died, and I kind of felt nothing. I mean.. you don't see/hear people suffer... Yes you know people just died, but...that's basically PG-13 rated. Not any less horrible to have happen granted, but it's just not R rated violence.

Edit: To be clear, I've seen some f'ed up shiz of real life death and maybe that's why the thought of what is in this video doesn't seem terrible. If it was an average 40y guy... people would care less. I'm still not going to watch though. I'll take your word for it..

Porsche girl was terrible and that one is forever seared in my memory. If that was the worst, then I suggest you avoid this one at all costs.

I feel like I do it because perhaps some (if not all of us deep down) perversely... have a desire to view this shit. Not even because I like it, but because somehow it reminds me that this shit is real, and life isn't all peachy all the time. I think though after a while, it's made me more paranoid and made me fearful of certain things. I sold my motorcycle after I saw a few man on bike vs immovable object pictures.

I thought I would be OK with this, at first--the initial terrible accident--but it was the callous response of the mother afterward, just moving on with her life as if this was no big deal, that really did a number on me.

I'm not sure how I will sleep this week, knowing such people are out there.
