If they are having problems getting BBOS stable on these phones today, I predict they'll drop support for them like a hot potato once QNX hits...

how come if some people, and not others, make a post like this talking about buggy phones they get banned for three months? or if they talk about a bad retailer they get banned for two weeks?

Because I posted a link to an article by a major pro BB site that wrote the article, and didn't just post my opinion?

Anywho, I find it interested that despite sagging marketshare they still have that kind of pull with carriers to push phones through.

Also, I don't know how much BGR you read, Moose, but they are NOT Blackberry friendly. Its possible they were in the past, but maybe they're trying really hard to shake that label, because their RIM coverage is decidedly negative. Its like Engadget is with Microsoft.

WHEN RIMM releases a new phone, we'll decide if it's buggy or not.

been waiting forever for the 9900. before that it was the 9780 that never came to ATT. I regret not upgrading in November when my contract was up.

Seems everybody is on RIM's case now, but I reckon they can turn things around. All that is needed is a richer OS and phones with better functionality.

But that's the problem, it's not that easy to create a whole new OS without alienating your previous installed user base. Even though people talk crap on RIM, they still have a huge install base. Just upgrading their current OS is not good enough to gain consumer ground which is why QNX is coming.

Plus, you need app developers to go along for the ride, while they are reluctant to do any coding for the old platform...
