the people of Anaheim who don't want their city dismissed like that, and the people of L.A. who don't want the Angels leeching off their city purely for marketing reasons.

it makes no sense... that's like saying the New Jersey Mets of New York. It's not the same location... LA/Anaheim (at least that's what Californians in a previous thread said).

I'm sorry, maybe I'm just stupid, but I really don't see how anyone would care about this. It's just a name that has absolutely no impact on anyone's life, why would you think about it for more than 2 seconds in your life?
 
I still can't believe they changed it.

Bud Selig shouldn't have let them. Then again Bud Selig shouldn't be the commissioner still.

I wish he and David Stern were on the same plane that crashed somewhere.
