Yet another problem....

Well son of a gun!! Seems problems abound around every corner for lots of us lately. Throwing my pain into the pot, I came home from work Teusday morning to find my P3 machine DEAD!! It blew some caps on the Abit BF6 motherboard. Of course that rig had my SetiQueue cache on it, that the other 4 computers used for work..... The others are happily crunching away again, but I'm down a good cruncher til the mobo is replaced. The good news I guess is that now I have a real valid reason to upgrade again!!! bwahahahahhahhhhhahaha

Get a cheapy mobo for the p3 and then build a p4 nothwood or xp system!!!!!

Sorry to hear about the fatality, but it is always nice to have an excuse to build a bigger badder cruncher

I will have a dualie AMD system up sometime next week to add to the power of E^5

Oh and I have one of those super stabilizing files except people have given mine really good reviews they all say "It works like Crazee"

I think you should just get a cheap mobo for that P3, then get one of them those Athlon XP or P4 Northwood thingies everybody is talking about. Not sure what they do, but they're supposed to be good.
