Yet another Playstation exclusive gone? Ace Combat

Why can't these threads be positive for the 360 instead of negative for Sony. As gamers, we would want both companies to succeed and both to make great games.

As gamers the Xbox 360 is a much better console and developers are seeing this. They see that the PS3 manufacturing costs and the low acceptance by gamers is not going to give them the market penetration that they want. That is why most games are going cross-platform.

Dunno if this has been posted, but Devil May Cry 4 is also shipping for 360 and Windows.

EDIT: Wait...see a thread about it just down the page 🙁

The PS3 kind of seems to be shaping up like a modern day Sega Saturn. It jumped out of the gate at a decent clip, but it's high cost, more difficult programming environment, and the fact that it really doesn't seem to offer much over the competition are killing it. The fact that it has Blu Ray might help it in the long run though.

I think it'll do alright in Japan. My guess is game companies are starting to think putting games on the xbox360 is the only way they're going to sell them IN AMERICA, since the ps3 isn't dominating here like the ps2 did.

There is a reason why nobody compares Blu-Ray/HD-DVD sales to regular DVD sales...it's embarrassingly lopsided.

The market penetration that Blu-Ray needs for the PS3 to be successful is years away.
