Yet another No Hard Drive Detected thread...

Subtitled 'Chasing benchmark numbers'....

Had this rig for about a month:
ASUS P658XD- Prem
Crucial 300 128GB SSD
Marvell 91XX v1042
Win7 x64 Ult

Was fairly stable but now getting the No Hard Drive Detected via Marvell on the first cold boot. Reboot and all is well (so far anyways). Had the SSD initially to the Intel SATA controllers and the numbers were not that great. Moved it to the 6Gb controller, config'd for ACHI and numbers appeared to double through AS SSD. Boot was fine too until the NHDD issue started just last week. Fiddled with boot order in BIOS and still have issues.

I know the Marvell doesn't have TRIM and all, but the 6Gb does seem 'faster' and darnit, I have a 6Gb so I'm gonna (try to) use it :\ !

Would appreciate any input. TIA!
