they used the most anemic and pathetic piddle stream to bust the myth 😛 Not very realistic compared to every drunken slash i've evr taken...

it only has to be complete for a split second...

Yea i agree. When i was a kid we had horses, well my dad installed an electric wire out to the outside pen. He ran the feeder wire low through one of the stalls so that while the horse was in the stall he wouldnt get shocked. Well one day i had to pee really bad and went in that stall and hosed the wire without knowing it was there. I did get shocked, my dad didnt run a heavy current throught the wire, just enough to zap the horse to stop him when he stuck his head over the fence, but it was enough to make me say AHHHHHHH!

so when i saw that mythbusters i was thinking of that incident and have to disagree, that myth is very real.

Grab a 120 GPM fire hose and point it up at a 34.5kV distribution line and see what happens!

Actually most of you puny asses would be owned by the rocket action of the hose. BUT if you could actually hold it and the stream touched the line, you would be hosed! hehehehehe

Ever since the one where they experimented between running or walking through rain I have not watched the show. Doesnt take a genius to see that when looking down from above, a person's head is a very large portion of the exposed surface area. Yet, even as thier hair/or scalp was dripping wet they never tried to messure that water.

As far as peeing on a 3rd rail. Is there anyone that can be that confident that the myth is untrue to actualy go try it?

hey hey, the shows after that running through the rain bit were good. sometimes they are off, but most of the time its pretty awesome.
