Yet another iPod

I walked into an Apple store yesterday. Walked out with a 30 Gig ipod.

It's black and smaller than I expected.

Now, anyone got any recommanded accessories to go with it? Something like a crystal clear case.

Is this consider a 4th gen?

Why do so many people always say how good the ipod looks with its shiny finish if everyone just ends up putting them in ugly cases to keep them from scratching anyway??

Agent18 video shield is the case I have for mine, adds a little bulk to a it but doesnt change the look too much.

it looks good with its shiny finish, however, after hours of use, my finger print is all over it.

That is a very good question. My gf got an ipod and we liked its shiny finish and was hoping to find something that would protect the screen. Unfortunately every case that we found was butt ugly.

while i don't use this personally as i have the old but great ipod mini, this sounds interesting:
The iLuv battery and case. this supposedly increases your bettery life up to 42 hours. cool. it ain't cheap, but it might be worth it. i have a griffin itrip and love it. i must say that the iLuv thing does look cool, no?
