Yet Another iPod Thread

that's the same that I heard, 10 hours for the 2nd gen, 8 hours for the 3rd gen... I think it's because in the 3rd generation, even though they cut back on power consumption, they shrunk the battery for greater portability.
 
crap, i thought it was like 22 hours.

Also, how do I make playlists with this thing? It doesn't even say anything in the manual
 
you should use ephpod. it's easier. but if you like musicmath go for it. it's in there. i forget where though as i haven't used it in a while. as for battery life. it's 10hrs if you don't keep pressing Next and Previous and all the buttons and backlight alot cuz it uses the cache to store the next song so it doesn't have to spin the harddrive up all the time. but yea, around 10hrs according to the manual. i love my ipod. it's awesome. wish they'd let me get it autographed by michelle branch though.

Hehehe... naw, not braggin even though I'm very happy with my purchase.

I just remember reading somewhere that the batteries last for a good 22 hours. I must have been dreaming.
