Yet another international shipping question

We expect to have more baby goats born in the spring; a citizen from the UAE asked to be placed on our waiting list. He's interested in importing fainting goats into the UAE. Think it's worth the bother to figure out all the red tape involved?

Thanks, Xanis. I had already read most of the regulations from the UAE end. Vaccination certificates, good health certificates are something we already do when we sell our goats (along with pictures, registration papers, pedigrees, etc.) along with tags (we're planning on switching over to chipping the animals instead.)

I was just wondering if people thought it would be worth the bother.

Of course. If the buyer pays for your trouble (don't make him/her pay through the nose) and shipping, I don't see anything wrong with it.

besides feinting goats and supersized turkeys, what else do you raise there in upstate NY ?

I here there's a market for hippos..

As has already been mentioned, as long as the buyer pays all the costs involved, (including some for your time) why not? I'd want to be sure it's not some kind of "Nigerian Scam" type of thing, but as long as his money is good, and you're compensated fairly for your time & trouble, why not?
How would you have to ship them? Can you have them picked up where you're at, or will you have to take them to a major city, like NYC to ship them? Maybe it would be better (for you) to have him come to the USA and get them in person, and let HIM deal with all the paperwork and shipping details...

Hey, that's a good idea, Boomer.

Tom, besides the goats and super-sized turkey (gonna get more turkeys in the spring), I have flemish giants, llamas, guinea fowl (whose noise can really get on my nerves sometimes) and a bunch of stupid egg laying chickens.
