Yet another ICS problem....

Alrighty...I'm stumped.

I have 2 machines. One running XP and one running ME.The XP box is the one with the modem in it(3060 speedstream internal PCI).I'm using a crossover cable to connect one PC to the other and everything is running fine with that.I can connect to the other PC and vice versa.
So next I went to set up ICS.Heres where the headache begins...
I used the "Set up a home network" wizard in XP and showed that this PC(XP) was the one with the internet connection.Went to the ATM connection for my modem and selected for it to allow other PCs on the network to use this connection.XP firewall is disabled🙂
On the ME machine I have a little icon in my system tray that says "Internet Gateway:Connected".
However, when I go to use the net on the ME machine I get nada.No ICQ,no IE,no nothing.
For the life of me I can't figure this crap out.
ANY help whatsoever is greatly appreciated.
