More on my GTXP.

I have installed the drivers that came on the CD with it, and I have installed the latest drivers from the Hercules website, yet I have no sound and every time I reboot I get Windows XP telling me about a new "Multimedia Audio Device" that has been found and I go on a neverending loop of drivers, hardware found, etc, etc. I'm thinking about getting rid of this GTXP and 4pc speaker set and downgrading to a normal sound card and a nice set of 2.1 speakers. Anyone looking to trade?
 
I tried the latest ones first, then the old ones, then the new ones, then the old ones and finally the new ones again. For now my only sound is beeps from the PC speaker.
