Yet Another Google Video Thread: Bill Gates in a very difficult position

I remember he stated near the end, it's not his fault that he designs something that makes the older versions obsolete. He also commented on how he never forced anybody to use them, it was their personal choice.

perhaps, but playing on a countries missunderstanding of technology, in this case what options they have for web browsers, is somewhat anti-competitive, you have to admit. Just consider the word of mouth effect that Fire Fox has had, people being told there there are other things out there aside of IE has really pushed FF to be pretty popular, sure IE still holds marketshare, but even a small dent speaks to the desire of people to find something better.

It still depends on precident though, just because in absolute capitalism it's a smart thing to do, should the government allow it? We could allow all kinds of things in America that would be 'good for buisness.' Most of those, and many things that we do allow allready are not at all good on society.

Bill Gates supposedly rocks back and forth like that when he is in deep thought. You often see him like that in meetings and such. It doesn't mean that he is nervous...at least not for him...
 
Am I the only one who has major problems with Google video? It just won't play all the way through, stops every few seconds. Shame, because this looks interesting.
