Backstory: Mom and Husband are out spending my inheritance. 😀 Actually they both retired about 8 years ago. She, when PacBell did the early Retirement Buyout, and He's ex CHP. They spend winters in FLA working for Da Mouse. They Bought the RV and have been toolin' around the US since then, working here and there and basically enjoying life.
They rented their house to a contractor friend, complete with written, month to month, rental contract.
Long story short ....
Dude is late on rent by 3 mos. , is not returning calls, and now I have to start with the survelliance. They won't be back in CA until October at the earliest. The Pay or Quit Notices are already in the mail, and (in a Large, reverberant voice) Let the games begin!
