Yet Another Corrupt Drive Question (YACDQ!)

My RAID-0 NTFS WIndows XP array is corrupt. When I boot into it, it gets far in but spontaneously reboots right as the login screen comes up. Logging into the recovery console is not much help as the DIR gives "problem with directory enumeration" and CHKDSK fails with "unrecoverable error" - and I've tried all the switches. I can't even install XP on it as I'm told to run CHKDSK.

So now I'm booted onto a 3rd hard drive just fine. When booting into this third drive, the BIOS does in fact see the array, but when I'm in Windows I have no drive letter. Therefore some of this trial recovery software is useless as it is not peeking into the array.

I've considered just formatting the darned thing or partitioning it under the 3rd drive, but I thought I would ask for help. Thanks in advance...
